  • What if I'm outside of the service area?

    If you searched your zip code and got the "OOPS..." message, try one more time. Mistakes happen, you may have made a typo. If you still aren't in our service area, get in touch with us via phone or email. We may still be able to help, or at least answer any questions you may have regarding your chimney and its maintenance. We're here to help!

  • How long does the chimney inspection and sweep take to complete?

    The average inspection and chimney sweep takes roughly 45 minutes to 1 and a half hours to complete.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes, we are licensed and insured in the State of Maryland. Our sweeps are also Certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America or CSIA.

  • Do I need to be home for my chimney inspection/sweep?

    Yes and no. We ask that you try to be home for your inspection in order to review the inspection report so that we can answer any questions you may have. We can still complete the inspection without you being home as long as access has been arranged in advance. We also email your inspection report once complete and someone is always available to answer your questions once you've reviewed the report.

  • Can I light a fire before my appointment?

    Please do not light a fire 24 hours prior to your appointment. This will ensure that the fireplace and chimney are cool enough for the our technician to perform the inspection and sweep.
